Consider A Corner Bathroom Shower Seat

When you are trying to save space and get the most out of your design, one of the biggest concerns that comes up is being able move around inside of your bathroom corner shower. Mobility in these small spaces is at a premium and without the right planning, you could find yourself even more cramped than before you started. There are still ways, however, to make sure that you can stand up, and actually sit down, without worrying about cutting into the limited amount of space that you already have. Here are some of the other benefits that adding a corner shower seat to your small shower can provide.

Shaving Your Legs – The women and girls in your home will greatly appreciate having a corner shower seat to use. Being able to sit down and shave their legs is a luxury that may not be available without having a seat. Being in a smaller corner shower may stop them from being able to lean over completely to reach near their ankles and lower legs. Having a seat installed will allow them the space they need to shave their entire legs without having to bend into contortionist positions.

After A Long Day At Work – If you only have a shower in your bathroom and not an actual tub, you may not want to get into the shower because you are going to have to stand up. Having a seat will allow you to sit down in the steamy shower, and enjoy yourself rather than being forced to stand up the entire time.

Handicapped Family Members – Having only a smaller corner shower in your home can also be a problem for any handicapped family members you may have. By installing a corner seat in the shower you are going to allow them a place to rest while they are bathing, rather than being forced to have help from someone else in your family. These seats help them feel much more independent than if they were forced to have help everytime they wanted to bathe.

To Store Your Personal Effects – When you’re done using the shower you can store your personal effects, such as shampoo, conditioner, soaps, and body washes on the corner seat instead of laying them on the floor where they can potentially leak out.
